Welcome to Chamber Music 2000

CHAMBER MUSIC 2000 NEWS

The Lawson Piano Trio will stage a celebration of the Schubert Ensemble's Chamber Music 2000 commissions project 10 years on with a concert at the Purcell Room on Wednesday 10th February, featuring the premiere of a new Piano Trio by David Knotts (performed by them), an appearance by the Schubert Ensemble (performing one or more recent commissions), and the premiere of 10 new Chamber Music commissions performed by groups from schools where the Lawson Trio will be giving workshops.

The Future – As we continue to develop the activity of Chamber Music 2000 we shall also need to be fundraising from Trusts, Foundations and public funding sources.  If you felt able to support the Trust in some way or if you know of particular organisations which might support us we would love to hear from you.  It is now possible for Chamber Music 2000 to claim Gift Aid from any private donation and we recently registered so people can nominate Chamber Music 2000 to receive their tax repayments as a donation through Self Assessment Returns.  Our unique code is XAS54WG and more details on how to give in this way can be found by visiting the HM Revenue and Customs Website
